Quebec City

As the weather turns a little cooler, I've had more time to sit down and sort through some of the photos I took over the summer.

Here are some photos from our trip to Quebec City (the capital of the province) this past July:

Crane Mountain: first hike

Today Neuro and I climbed Crane Mountain. The mountain is 1700 feet high at the summit, and despite the rough climb the view was breathtaking.

Rocky trail:

Pretty steep climb:

Midway up the mountain we stopped to take some photos:

This one really shows the perspective:

And eventually we DID reach the summit:

There were some little waterfalls along the way:

The weather was perfect, and the batteries in our cameras wore out before we did... which is why I am not sharing any photos of the loons we saw on the way home. :)

July 4th weekend

For 4th of July weekend, Neuro's friend Scot invited us to his camp on Sacandaga Lake.

He let us ride on his Ski Do's, and we also got to cruise around the lake on Neuro's brother Pete's boat. We did some tubing and even attempted water skiing (ouch!). The weather was perfect, and we had a great time.
