Snowy path

Went for a walk at today. I really enjoyed the shadows on the snow.

Chickadees

Some friendly chickadees I met on my walk today:

Photo contest: "cold"

I took this shot for a photo contest with the theme "cold". I didn't adjust the colors or anything - the scene was really that stark.

Snowdrifts

I really liked the look of these snowdrifts. They reminded me of ocean waves.

Winter sure can be beautiful... I just wish it wasn't quite so long! :)

Teepees

I saw these teepees at a wilderness camping site during a winter hike. They reminded me of the hot air balloon festival held in my hometown every fall.

Chickadee

This was one of those "chance" shots that result from being in the right place at the right time with my camera turned on and aimed in the right direction when the little guy landed right in front of me.




I'm pretty happy with it. :)
