It's officially Spring!

It's "officially" spring! Apparently I'm not the only one who is eagerly awaiting actual spring weather! Here's Martell taking in the sun at the front door. He's such a handsome boy. >^..^<

Photo contest: "cold"

I took this shot for a photo contest with the theme "cold". I didn't adjust the colors or anything - the scene was really that stark.

Snowdrifts

I really liked the look of these snowdrifts. They reminded me of ocean waves.

Winter sure can be beautiful... I just wish it wasn't quite so long! :)

Teepees

I saw these teepees at a wilderness camping site during a winter hike. They reminded me of the hot air balloon festival held in my hometown every fall.
