Hot Air Balloon Festival - 2005

The Adirondack Balloon Festival is a yearly event here, and one of the few occasions for which I *willingly* get up at 4am!

Here's a shot of the airport at 6am as the sun started coming up:

Sigmund looked so nice with the matching fall leaves behind him that I had to take his picture... and he was a surprisingly good sport about it. :)

A boxwood beetle...




these little guys are harmless, unless you're a boxwood tree. In the fall they like to sit on the back side of my house and enjoy the sun.
